Glastonbury Coffee Shop in Connecticut

"This is a very local spot, barely visible from the nearby streets. The property is working through some updates to store fronts so the sign has not yet been installed. For now, you will need to be looking for it on purpose. Been coming here for years with my son and solo occasionally before my workday. The coffee is fresh, hot and refilled quickly. The food is deftly prepared, served hot, and satisfying. The servers are hospitable and attentive. Regular customers are remembered by name and welcomed as friends. It is a community gathering spot. I've seen entire high school sports teams descend on the place after their practices and families happily rearranging tables to accommodate their group. Get there at the right time and you'll see third shift folks grabbing a meal on their way home. Crew chiefs pop in to supply their workers with breakfast sandwiches and coffees. That's the vibe of the place. The business is cash only so be prepared for that. There is a nearby ATM if needed. It's a good place, the kind of place you mention when talking about your home town."

"An amazing mom and pops place my wife and I are happy we found this place. There not expensive at all and the food was great perfect size I was totally happy with them and not over stuffed. I definitely recommend this place if your in Glastonbury I will definitely be back myself . P.s the coffee is amazing there you can tell everything I had was made with love . "FYI, this place is cash only. Outdated decor, BUT fabulous service and food. I got my order within minutes! Scrambled eggs and rye toast were great. Coffee was a 3 out of 5. I had wanted pancakes but they don't offer real maple syrup. I didn't tell the waitress that I needed to leave for an appointment in 20 minutes, so when I got my order so quickly it was wonderful! Everyone working there was in a great mood and had good eye contact. I could tell there were some regulars eating at the counter and there was a nice banter with them and the 2 guys behind the counter. Not 100% perfect, but I give it 5 stars for the great experience and good food."

"Such a good breakfast! Perfectly cooked egg and rye toast plus excellent home fries. I grabbed a forkful of my son's crispy hash and instantly regretted not getting them! It's also either cash or venmo for payment! Great idea...no credit card fees so the prices are very reasonable! Great place! Oh and the coffee is good, too!"

"Excellent "mom and pop" diner. LOVED the crispy home fries!! Sat at the counter as I didn't have a whole lot of time, and they were very fast and friendly. Truely a bottomless cup of coffee! As in, I never saw the bottom until I said "No more please Delicious, friendly, and comfortable! My only quibble is NOT with the Glastonbury Coffee shop, but with the Google Maps entry - Google Maps says credit cards are accepted. They aren't! It's actually cash only, or Venmo. Luckily, I had money in my Venmo!!"

"Let’s start with the staff: I was greeted with a smile and the young lady was beyond kind and sweet listened to everything I had to say ( dietary restrictions) she double checked everything!! Awesome: now the food just adds them to the next level, it was made hot fresh and quick! The home fries are to die for!! Highly recommend them!"
